The Fairest Week In Review: 8/12

JENN: So how was the training this week?

MOON: Very good! I remain consistent with mileage and daily activity. How was yours?

JENN: Ha – it was pretty terrible. That minor cough I was talking about last week? Yeah, it wasn’t quite done with me. I was sooooo slooooooow all week and even suffered some lung capacity reduction on Monday. But I ultimately got my mileage in, one way or another, so I guess it worked out. I just didn’t enjoy it overly.

MOON: Did you still run outside?

JENN: Largely, yeah.So I’m scarcely blazingly speedy as it is. But I’m working on it!

MOON: I logged 21.5 miles this past week. All work on making 5K faster!

JENN: Yay! Any particularly motivating songs? I’ve been kinda into the Dropkick Murphys “Rose Tattoo” lately.

MOON: Hmm, yesterday I listened to probably the happiest song on my iPhone. It’s called “Oh Sailor” by Mr. Little Jeans.

AH! BUT, bad news. My headphones are broken. I was going to take them in for repair today, but it’s raining heavily and I get nervous driving in so much rain.

JENN: Oh, yeah, you have the super-fancy headphones, right? What kind are they?

MOON: Bose Noise Cancelling. I think it’s repairable…

JENN: Well, that’s good. You have backups? My yurbuds work pretty well.

MOON: The others are also broken I had a pair of old school Sony headphones. I loved those. Turns out I left them at the gym last week…

JENN: Awww. Good luck with the fixing, then!

MOON: Danke! My future runs depend on it.

JENN: While we wait in suspense for a diagnosis, time for the roundup!
